   ▪  MHI Safety Case / CIMAH Report

A facility where quantities of dangerous materials present or likely to be present are in excess of the specified        threshold quantities is classified as a major hazard facility. Operator of the major hazard facility is required to        submit a Safety Report* that states clearly type and quantities of material stored, handled and used in the        processes of the facility, demonstrates adequacy of risk assessment, risk control and Safety Management        System that have been implemented at the facility. The purpose of the report is to prevent, control and mitigate        the effects of accidents involving dangerous materials that could cause serious harm to people and/or the        environment.

*In certain countries, this is known as the CIMAH (Control of Industrial Major Accident Hazards) Report.

   ▪  Corporate / Onsite Emergency Response Plan

The purpose of an Emergency Response Plan is to facilitate and organise employer and employees to deal        with fires, chemical spills, explosions, floods, injuries, illnesses and other crisis situations and help ensure        fewer and less severe employee injuries and less structural damage to the facility during emergencies.

   ▪  Corporate / Site Crisis Management Plan

Crisis Management, also known as Incident Management, defines the process of dealing with major        unpredictable event that threatens to harm the organization, its stakeholders, or the general public, before the        crisis occurs. A Crisis Management Plan prepares the company in both dealing with any emergency situation        as well as dealing with public perceptions. Planning for perception is vital in protecting a company’s image        and credibility and its ability to recover after a crisis.

   ▪  Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS)

The Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) is developed to help companies to        manage health, safety and environmental issues in a consistent and effective manner. The HSEMS outlines        responsibility levels, established standards and procedures, and the systems of reporting and auditing.        HSEMS promotes continuous improvement by ongoing measurement and evaluation of performance against        established standards.
